Holiday Update! FINALLY...

As usual it' s been three months since I've updated anyone on what's been going on with eye on the sparrow designs... and as usual A LOT has happened. This fall has been an incredibly busy time with craft shows nearly every weekend. I've said this before - I'm constantly surprised by people. Whether it's a story that someone has to share about Carter or how excited they are to see what I am doing, I embarrassed to admit that I never knew the kindness that exists when you are willing to be vulnerable and take a few risks. I've been overwhelmed by how well eye on the sparrow designs has done so far.

In press news, I'm honored to be featured in this month's edition of 360 West Magazine. If you haven't gotten a chance to check out this hip new magazine from Cowtown, do yourself a favor and grab a copy. Speaking of Cowtown, folks over there can pick up designs at the Greener Good. Liz, the fabulous owner of the Greener Good, will be featuring some new designs on Good Morning Texas this Wednesday morning.

In design news, there are two big hits this fall/Holiday season. A newly designed infinite circles necklace has been flying off shelves, well maybe tables. It comes in a variety of lengths and color designs (bronze, gold, or silver) and can be made from either bass strings or guitar strings. Another big hit is the men's chunky bracelet made from a single B bass string. It's industrial enough to by stylish for your favorite music loving guy.

In other store news, now being featured at Oak Cliff's newest inside bazaar Indie Genius. I'm so excited to be a part of Julie's brainchild. Julie, who is the owner of Make in Oak Cliff, has created such a neat place with Indie Genius where crafters can come together and manage our own spaces to showcase designs in a unique environment that allows the craft show vibe to be open year round!

I'm sure there's more because there always is. I guess I'll throw this in. At this writing I'm nearing the seventh month of my pregnancy. A LOT of things are going to change in my life, most of which will include being at home quite a bit more. While I'm not prepared to slow down a whole lot I am excited about what opportunities I'll be able to create for eye on the sparrow designs while I'll be at home more with myself, a computer, my jewelry, and a little one. I'm looking forward to getting eye on the sparrow designs into more stores and expanding into other opportunities. Keep your eye out - or keep your eye on the sparrow!
