Fall Fun!

Wow, time flies. It seems like I say that every time, but it's so true. It's been a month and a half since I posted that picture of my beautiful little Emme. I can't believe she will be seven months old in just a few days. WOW! Being a mom is such an adventure! And I thought saving the world one guitar string at a time was an adventure!

What's new these days? I am definitely in the midst of the Holiday season. I've scaled shows back a little this fall to have plenty of time to spend with Emme. There is also a lot still on the calendar. Here's a look:

October 8 - Arts Goggle - Fort Worth, TX
October 15 & 16 - Forest Meadow Junior High - Dallas, TX
November 4 & 5 - Girlie Show - Oklahoma City, OK
November 12 & 13 - Lakewood Home Market - Lakewood Elementary - Dallas, TX
November 26 & 27 - Renegade Austin Craft Fair - Palmer Events Center - Austin, TX
December 3 - Dallas Flea - Southside on Lamar - Dallas, TX
December 10 - White Rock Local Christmas Market - Greenspot - Dallas, TX

I love Etsy. It's the most amazing hub of crafters. I'm so happy to be on it. And so happy to have been found by someone in Norway. eye on the sparrow designs has gone international. Who knew that metal was big in Norway? I sure didn't. There's an Alan Bovee of WARBEAST set of bangles hanging out in Norway now! How cool is that!

I'm working on a new Etsy adventure. It's still in the works. It will bring together all of the awesome eco-friendly local folks in a really, cool and unique way. My hopes is that we can have a stronger presence together both at craft shows and at stores.

Facebook is obviously a huge social hub for a lot of us and has become a hub for businesses to have a social presence as well. I've been using it to roll out new designs, announce who has donated strings, and sneak in a few giveaways!

Many thanks to everyone who supports eye on the sparrow designs from musicians to music lovers. Thank you for joining me on my adventure to connect the pieces between music, hip funky designs, and doing our part to save the earth. Remember in the middle of the earth is ART!
